FREDERICK HORSESHOE PITCHERS ASSOCIATION 2008 PITCHING SCHEDULE
The courts are located at Maryvale Park on West Patrick Street, across from Frederick Middle School, in Frederick, MD. All tournaments are open, with registration from 8-9:00 a.m. and an anticipated start time of 10:00 a.m. The schedule is as follows:
Sat, May 3 FHPA Veterans Memorial Sun, May 18 Junior Fogle Cancer Benefit Fun Pitch (1:00 pm) (non-sanctioned, at Walkersville Community Park in Walkersville, MD) Sat June 7 East Coast Tournament Sat, June 28 Esterly-Keilholtz Memorial Sat, Aug 2 Frederick Invitational Sat., Sept. 13 Tourney Name TBA Sat, Oct 4 Fall Classic The MD State Doubles Tournament will be held in Lusby on August 16th. The MD State Tournament of Champions will be hosted by Baltimore Metro in Essex on Labor Day weekend. Pitchers in State tourneys must be MD residents and requires participation in a minimum of two sanctioned events in the 12-months prior to the Tournaments. Entry Fee for all Frederick tournaments is $20. No refunds. If scorekeepers are available, each pitcher will pay them $1.00 per game. All are encouraged to assist with scorekeeping when not pitching.
